snapshot :: part two

the drowning sun slips
blindly ‘neath a tar baby
horizon. his flimsy threads

leak pastels, and dance, fading
into the Earth-line equator
twixt day and night. He

wipes Night’s brow the
palest shade of pink as she
whispers lovingly towards

his bitter adytum. His
undulations met only by
the westward wind and whisperer.

  1. hmmm a lovely place this snapshot…. the observer clicks, dots an i and crosses a river of t’zzzzzzzz… who would notice an every day event passing so smoothly across the unspoken simmering whisper of time… i was gonna say “… sigh that was beautiful dear, thank you…” but it’s already been…. it is a wonderful place to feel the peace and satisfaction of another oozing outta ya…
